The other problem with going through the tv is that it doesn't work with DTS sound. You have to run audio from the tv in order to use the webOS player though, which in my current iteration steals the receiver completely cutting of the PC sound. on that server for some reason while they play fine on emby app on my shield on a different SDR tv. reports HDR.Įmby also showed up but I had no luck getting emby to enable or pass HDR and emby via webos was telling me a lot of files were unplayable etc. That will send the hdr data to webos player built into the tv and the result and playback info. If you followed my posts wandering through the woods of different players on pc and ps4 today you'll see that I eventually found out in the end that LG CX's webos would pick up a plex sever if you enable the plex dlna server.
